Medico-Legal Questionnaires [MLQs] are very useful for the self assessment of the extent, limitation and needs associated with disability.

Disability MLQs:

1.     General Disability MLQs help define general disability also special forms of disability e.g. blindness

2.     Disability Discrimination DLQs for Disability Discrimination Act (1995) cases.

3.     Needs MLQs assist determining the personal care and equipment required.

General Disability MLQs  for cases with:

•     Disability affecting normal everyday bodily function activities - here overall, physical and mental disability are all considered

•     Household problems - difficulty in performing normal household activities

•     Additional Needs - for cases with special, and additional, problems such as blindness.

Disability Discrimination DLQs for accident and non-accident associated disability.

Needs MLQs are available to help determine cost of the needs [damages]
